Containing all these raw emotions without
letting them all out
has truly come with some great difficulty
Some of my closest friends have passed
away
And it is becoming more and more difficult
just to be able to get through another day
As I sit here thinking about all of them
My tears flow ever so easily
Because it's so overwhelming and too difficult to bear
As you well know by now
I've been dealing
with restless days and sleepless nights
due to all the losses
And I often wonder how much longer I can
go on
before my own body starts breaking down
Because it has affected me so badly
I can only hope the good Lord can carry my burdens
because it has become way too
difficult for me to carry on my own
God bless all my long lost friends
we will meet again in heaven someday.
Until then they will be just a wonderful memory.
